Hon. Director: Dherandra Kumar

Dherandra Kumar is a Clinical & Child Psychologist associated with Department of Psychology, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University) in New Delhi. He holds the position of Program Officer-cum-Clinical Psychologist at the department for  Stress and Examination Anxiety Intervention and Research Unit. At the department, he trains the Advanced Diploma in Counseling Psychology Scholars in psychological assessment and intervention for psychological and health related problems including childhood disorders. He is associated with Apollo Clinic and some other centres along with NGOs for the purpose of resource generation for Psyindia's charitable activities. He is fellow member of Association of Counseling Psychologists and Executive Council Member of Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists. He holds a masters degree in psychology with specialization in clinical psychology from G. K. University (Uttrakhand). 

The university felicitated him by gold medal for scoring highest marks in masters. After which, he did Post-Masters Diploma in Counseling Psychology from JMI (Delhi). He is a RCI Registered Clinical Psychologist and holds M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from University of Delhi with two years full time internship at Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS).

He has been invited to deliver lectures at more than a dozen of institutes of higher learning in the area of his expertise. He has conducted various workshops for schools and colleges. He delived lectures in various national & international conferences and seminars. He is  a resource person for NACO's training programs for ICTC & STI counselors. Dherandra Kumar has conducted workshops on child and adolescent issues, at JNV for Adolescent Education program of Ministry of HRD, NCERT and United Nations Population Fund. He has conducted workshops for professionals during various national and international seminars and conferences. He believes in updating and improving his knowledge and for the same he undergoes professional development programs regularly including that from Harvard Medical college.
